The question eLearning developers must ask is: How do people learn best?

These recent blog posts delve into the fundamental visual learner versus auditory learner inquiry. And what they share is intriguing:

In The Logical Blog this month, Kelly Barett explores current research on the value of auditory versus visual learning. Surprisingly, he finds there may not be such delineations in learners. An individual isn't a visual learner or an auditory learner. Each of us are both. For the information to really take root, we need to see and hear it.

This month's Adobe's eLearning community blog talks about the increasingly powerful visual effects available to eLearning developers. We all know that visuals can reinforce narration. But, if we're not careful, visuals can distract from or even contradict narration. Blending the two is the key to a successful eLearning course.

We'll turn it over to you. What insights have you culled about visual and auditory learning patterns? We want to know!
