Make Your Fun Intentional
What if this year your one resolution was to deliberately have more fun?
It would be one of the easier resolutions to keep! And it’s a worthwhile objective. Author and one-time science journalist Catherine Price believes it’s essential to prioritize fun. Intentionally seeking out fun causes us to be present in our lives; it refreshes us and silences our inner critic, helping us cope better with stress.
At EPI, we’ve always believed having fun at work is one of the secrets to boosting job satisfaction. Recently, we played the “This or That” game during a virtual team meeting, which led to lots of laughter and connection and left us ready to tackle the rest of our day with enthusiasm. I encourage you to schedule some intentional fun with your team!
As Price says in her engaging TED talk, “Fun is the secret to feeling alive.”
